The Government of Myanmar is systematically identifying, investigating and deporting foreign nationals who entered and stayed illegally in border areas and were involved in criminal activities, including online gambling and online fraud operations, in accordance with existing laws and procedures, and transferring them to the relevant countries.

The 2008 Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar stipulates that every citizen has the duty to undergo military training and defend the State. Those from Batch 2/2024, who voluntarily enlisted under the People’s Military Service Law and dutifully carried out national defence and regional security responsibilities in accordance with the 2008 Constitution of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, have now completed their designated service period.

Myanma Railways is expanding its train services to facilitate travel for the public and to provide convenience for freight operators. Starting from 15 May, two RBE train services will be operated daily on the Nay Pyi Taw-Toungoo and Toungoo-Nay Pyi Taw sections, as well as on the Toungoo-Bago and Bago-Toungoo sections.
