Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo, accompanied by his wife Daw Nilar, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Triangle Region Command and officials, yesterday morning gave words of encouragement to officers, other ranks, members of the Myanmar Police Force and people’s military (local) members receiving medical treatment at the local Tatmadaw hospital in Mongphyat.

The National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) met yesterday afternoon at the M Gallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw to discuss the peace process, aiming to strengthen internal peace and build a Union based on democracy and federalism, as the government accelerates dialogue with ethnic armed organizations to establish more effective processes and find practical ways to implement the outcomes of the dialogue.
