Taninthayi Region earned US$287.971 million in the 2025-2026 financial year. Being Myanmar’s leading seafood-exporting region, Taninthayi generated $312.525 million from seafood exports in the 2020-2021 financial year, $272.026 million in 2021-2022, $232.189 million in 2022-2023, $253.355 million in 2023-2024, $303.628 million in 2024-2025, and $287.971 million in 2025-2026.
