DUE to heavy rainfall in Kachin State, the Nagmon–Pannandin Maykha River crossing suspension bridge (for pedestrian use), measuring 340 feet in length and six feet in width, was swept away on 31 May as a result of a sudden rise in the water level of the Maykha River in Nagmon Township.
