At the Pyithu Hluttaw yesterday, the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry replied to a question on the confiscation of land in Bokpyin Township. Deputy Minister Dr. Min Ye Paing Hein denied that the ministry has plans to release the confiscated land as it has established a new village for local people.

PYITHU Hluttaw Deputy Speaker and Chairman of Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) on Hluttaw Development U Tun Tun Hein received a delegation led by Managing Director of the Bower Group Asia (Myanmar) Daw Tin May Thein (Judy Ko) at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed to hold workshop meeting and launch courses for Hluttaw representatives to improve their technical skills and ease of Hluttaw procedures.

THE Pyithu Hluttaw’s 15th regular session held its 9th day meeting yesterday, with questions to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Ministry of Construction.
The MPs also discussed preparing the ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) in implementing the ASEAN Economic Community.
The Hluttaw also approved recommendations of Bill Committee for bylaws of Pyithu Hluttaw Election, Amyotha Hluttaw Election and State/Region Hluttaw Election.
