My pen name is Maung Yoe – Nga phe. I received the National Literary Award for my two books, “Longing for My Dear Ngaphe Land” and “Our Village, Our Traditions-2.” The main idea of my writings is based on “tradition” and “change”. In Myanmar, each ethnic group has its own customs and traditions. So, in my writing, I describe what tradition means and also explain the move because in today’s fast-developing world, everything is changing rapidly, and so I highlight the living style with “change” depending on the movement of time.
