Basic Education High Schools 1 and 2 in Nawnghkio Township, northern Shan State, have resumed teaching as of 25 July, following a nearly year-long closure due to disruptions caused by terrorist insurgents. Students have returned to classes peacefully, and school registration is also ongoing.

THE Fisheries Department and Myanmar Fisheries Federation released notices for the fish farmers to be aware of weather conditions and make preparations, as some of the regions and states face flooding due to storms in the 2025 monsoon. In the 2024 monsoon, 4,215.93 acres of fish ponds in Bago Region were flooded, and the Fisheries Department provided fingerlings to resume fish farming.
