Every citizen has the duty to uphold “Our Three Main National Causes” — non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity, and perpetuation of sovereignty. To enable citizens to fulfil these duties, the People’s Military Service Law came into effect on 10 February 2024, requiring all citizens to undergo military training and serve in national defence. Accordingly, training courses for public military service are now being conducted for young people who have enthusiastically registered to serve in the defence and security of the nation.
