VICE President U Henry Van Thio, Chairman of the Ethnics Affairs, Public Management and Services Committee, made an address at the opening ceremony of the “Myanmar Ethnics Cultural Festival” held at the Kyaikasan Grounds, Yangon yesterday morning.
VICE President U Henry Van Thio inspected upgrade of NyaungU airport for customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) facilities and renovation of quake-affected pagodas in Bagan.

VICE President U Henry Van Thio received a delegation from the Universal Peace Federation led by its Chairman Dr Thomas G Walsh at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday evening.
During the meeting, they discussed the invitation extended to Myanmar to send a high level delegation to the Universal Peace Federation’s World Summit 2020 scheduled for February 2020 in Seoul, South Korea, and the UPF and the Union government to co-host the Third Asia-Pacific Summit in Myanmar in June 2020.
The stake-driving ceremony for constructing a community hall in the compound of the All Chin Society-Yangon (ACSY) in Ward 15 of Dagon Myothit East Township, Yangon, was held at 10 am yesterday.
