VICE-PRESIDENT U Henry Van Thio, in his capacity as chairperson of the National Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, delivered a speech via videoconferencing at the virtual ceremony marking International Day of Persons with Disabilities yesterday morning.

After greeting with captains Zaw Min Oo and Min Thu Zaw, the Vice President held a meeting with officials in the guest hall of the airport and praised the historic day of Chin State for the first trial flight at its new airport. The Vice President also expressed thanks to all stakeholders, including local engineers and experts, involved in the airport construction project, saying that it was challenging to build the airport because it is situated highest above sea level.
