VICE President U Myint Swe attended the 12th Private Sector Development Committee Meeting (PSDC), in his capacity as Chairman, and the coordination meeting of Ease of Doing Business Ranking Promotion Working Group (EDBRP) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The Vice President said the committee has been in existence for three years as it was formed on 24 October 2016 with 20 members to implement the five objectives for private sector development, led by three deputy ministers and two permanent secretaries.

VICE President U Henry Van Thio visited Gyeongbokgung Palace, NamSan Seoul Tower, Seoul Waterworks Authority and Waterworks Museum as part of his visit to Seoul, the Republic of Korea, yesterday and also met with staff of the Myanmar Embassy.
The Vice President was accompanied by Union Minister Thura U Aung Ko and officials as they made their way to Gyeongbokgung Palace by motorcade in the morning. They were given a tour of the palace by an expert.

VICE President U Henry Van Thio delivered a speech at the Assembly and International Summit Council for Peace of the Peace, Security and Human Development World Summit 2020 in Seoul, Republic of Korea yesterday.
When he arrived at the summit venue, Kintex Center, he was welcomed by Dr. Young Ho Yun, General Secretary of the Peace, Security and Human Development World Summit 2020, and officials.
Vice President U Henry Van Thio then posed for a documentary photo with the Universal Peace Foundation (UPF) Founder, state leaders, heads of governments, and ex-leaders.

A MYANMAR delegation led by Vice President U Henry Van Thio and accompanied by Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and officials to attend the Peace, Security and Human Development World Summit 2020 left for the Republic of Korea on 2 February and arrived Seoul at 7:15 am local time yesterday.

A MYANMAR delegation led by Vice President U Henry Van Thio left for the Republic of Korea yesterday to attend the Peace, Security and Human Development World Sumit-2020.

The Vice President is accompanied by Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Thura U Aung Ko and officials.

The delegation was seen off at the Yangon International Airport by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein, Yangon Mayor U Maung Maung Soe, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Mr Lee Sang-hwa and officials.

VICE President U Henry Van Thio inspected upgrade of NyaungU airport for customs, immigration and quarantine (CIQ) facilities and renovation of quake-affected pagodas in Bagan.
During the trip, the Vice President was accompanied by Union Minister for Transport and Communications U Thant Sin Maung, Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Ohn Maung and departmental heads.

THE second coordination meeting of Steering Committee on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing of Terrorism was held at the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday morning, with an opening speech of Committee’s Chairman Vice President U Myint Swe and discussions by member of committees to implement 14 plans adopted in the Asia Pacific Joint Group meeting in Beijing, China.
