THE 15th regular session of Second Pyithu Hluttaw held the 3rd day meeting yesterday, with answers to the asterisked questions and tabling a motion.

MP U Shwe Hla Kyaing from Kangyidaung constituency asked about legal action against land owners who have not built any building although they have already taken land permits in the last 20 years and the township has been 24 years.
He also urged the Union government to invite business firms for investments on the remaining land plots which have not been issued for permits.

PYITHU Hluttaw Speaker and chairpersons of committees held Coordination Meeting (1/2020) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
In his opening remark, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat said the term of second Hluttaw has reached 4th anniversary on 31 January, and MPs performed their duties of legislations, checks and balances and representations to the public during this period, with passing 124 laws in the second Hluttaw, totaling 356 laws with the first Hluttaw.
He also called for cooperation in unity to overcome all the challenges and difficulties.

THE second Pyithu Hluttaw held its second day meeting of 15th regular session yesterday, with the answers of respective ministries to asterisked questions and approving the Tax Appeal Tribunal Bylaws.

The six newly substituted Tatmadaw representatives of Pyithu Hluttaw were sworn in and signed the swearing-in documents.

MP U Maung Myint from Mingin constituency asked about reapproving reasonable expenses for the civil service staff in remote areas of his constituency.

PYITHU HLUTTAW Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein received Director of Danish Institute for Parties and Democracy (DIPD) Mrs Lisbeth Pilegaard at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed measures related to strengthening democratic system in Myanmar, internal peace, organizing free and fair elections, assistance in capacity building for political parties, women and youth and their more active participations in politics.
