THE naval vessel 554 of Tatmadaw (Navy) on Monday left for Sittway Township from No 6 naval jetty of Kyaukpyu carrying 5,000 eggs, about 500 visses of chicken, 100 cartons of noodles and 600 packs of 1-litre water bottles as the township was demolished by a extremely severe cyclone Mocha. They distributed foodstuffs and drinking water to the storm victims and further assistance will be provided to the people in Rathedaung.
