Under the State Administration Council’s Martial Law Order 10/2023 and the Martial Law Order 11/2023 dated 12 November 2023 (14th Waning of Thadingyut 1385 ME), the SAC has transferred the executive and judiciary power to the Commander of North-East Command and the Commander of Regional Control Command (Laukkai) to exercise the Martial Law in accordance with Section 419 of the Constitution to enforce security, the rule of law and community peace in relevant townships of Shan State.

THE combined teams under the supervision of the Bago Region Illegal Trade Eradication Task Force conducted inspections on 7 and 8 November and nabbed a Nissan Condor vehicle (estimated value of K15 million), headed to Yangon from Myawady, carrying three kinds of goods worth K7,077,600 including 2,190 kilogrammes of Smart softeners that were not declared in the Import Declaration (ID) near Shwe Thanlwin Tollage in Phayagyi and two Nissan Diesel truck (approximately K40 million), travelling from Thaton to Yangon, carrying three kinds of goods worth K7.1 million including 24 sets of 32-inch Recond TV without official documents at the Nyaungkhashay X-Ray station. The action was taken under Customs procedures.
