THE Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement held a Nationwide Case Management Supervision Unit (NCMSU) coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine, Directors General and Deputy Directors General from the departments and Social Welfare Department officials from the Nay Pyi Taw Council, regions and states joined the meeting virtually. At the meeting, Union Minister Dr Thet Thet Khine said it is necessary to continue to produce more case managers to cover the whole country.

UNION Minister for Construction U Shwe Lay, accompanied by commander of the Military Operations Command Colonel Thaw Zin Oo, inspected roads in Monghsat town and the current condition of the Monghsat-Tachilek section and the paved section of the concrete roadway on 26 April. During the inspection tour, the Union Minister said the Monghsat-Tachilek road is an impor-tant connecting road to the border towns. The roads and bridges must be in good condition for the active flow of goods.

A MYANMAR delegation led by U Than Aung Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations virtually participated on the occasion of the 77th Session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) which is being held from 26 to 29 April, 2021. The theme topic of the session is “Building back better from crises through regional cooperation in the Asia and the Pacific”. The opening session was held on 26th April.

THE English proficiency course jointly conducted by the Ministry of Information and Ministry of Education was held yesterday. During the ceremony, Union Minister U Chit Naing stressed the need to have more practices and a great passion for English language study like writing, reading and speaking. Then, Deputy Minister Dr Zaw Myint said the first English language course was opened at MRTV in Tatkon, and it is the second course. Such doing to improve the quality of staff is a good move.

1.Civil service personnel are well operating the whole State machinery. However, political and economic systems and governments were changed, and civil service personnel have to manage the State machinery alive constantly. Some of them were taken action under the provisions of the Civil Service Personnel Law and rules for failures in service personnel code of conduct, breaking disciplines and ab-sence in duty, and some personnel were taken action under the law for their acts or criminal commitments based on their lack of responsibility.
