Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi stated that arrangements must be made to further improve the respective subject-matter expertise, ethics, and integrity of Hluttaw representatives, as they primarily support and facilitate the Hluttaw functions.

The 16th-day meeting of the second regular session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw featured the construction of a concrete bridge, upgrade of roads, deployment of teachers, construction of staff housing, transformation of the school land into the grant land, construction of school buildings, establishment of an arts and science university a teacher training college or college.

​​​​​​​The Pyithu Hluttaw approved the Anti-Online Scam Bill yesterday during the 15th-day of its second regular session. Attended by Speaker U Khin Yi, Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn, and representatives, the Hluttaw passed the bill after endorsing 74 amendments adopted by the Amyotha Hluttaw and an additional 41 revisions proposed by the Bill Committee. The motion was tabled by U Thein Tun Oo, Secretary of the Bill Committee and representative from the Amarapura Constituency.

The second regular session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw continued for the fourth day at its convention hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning, attended by Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Speaker U Aung Lin Dwe, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi, Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn, Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker Jeng Phang Naw Taung and Hluttaw representatives.

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi presided over the first work coordination meeting with the chairpersons and secretaries of committees formed under the Pyithu Hluttaw yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Myanmar parliamentary delegation, led by Speaker of the Pyithu Hluttaw U Khin Yi, returned from attending the 2nd International Forum of the Union State, ‘Great Heritage Common Future’, held in Brest, Belarus. The delegation departed from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, at 7:15 pm local time on 24 June and arrived at Yangon International Airport at 8:15 pm.

The 12th day of the Second Regular Session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw was held in Nay Pyi Taw on 22 June, with Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn presiding.

The Myanmar delegation, led by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi, attended the 2nd International Forum of the Union State titled “Great Heritage – Common Future” in Brest, Belarus, yesterday. They were joined by Hluttaw Speakers from 17 countries and other high-level representatives. During the forum, Speaker U Khin Yi delivered a speech.

At the invitation of Mr Igor Sergeyenko, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Belarus, and Mr Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi, accompanied by officials from the Pyithu Hluttaw Office, departed Yangon on 19 June and arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, at 9:25 am local time.
