The Ministry of Health and Sports has been conducting monitoring activities on the COVID-19 acute respiratory disease, which had spread throughout China and some countries around the world, at international entry-exit checkpoints, hospital-based, community-based and in cooperation with private hospitals.

2. There were five new patients who are being monitored for COVID-19 disease as of 12 pm of 22-3-2020 from 12 pm of 20-3-2020.

3. As of 6 p.m. on 22-3-2020, 16 patients were being monitored for the COVID-19 at hospitals.

The discussion took place at the meeting hall of Industrial Zone Management Committee in Hlinethaya Township, Yangon.
