According to an official in Sittway Township, the news is simply false, and the malicious media is intentionally spreading misinformation about Muslims in Rakhine State.

BRAZIL has expressed its support for Myanmar's establishment of a diplomatic school. Moreover, discussions are underway regarding potential diplomatic exchange visits between the two nations, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On 14 March, Myanmar Ambassador to Brazil U Aung Kyaw Zan and acting head of the Rio Branco Institute under the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ms Mariana Moscardo convened the meeting at the institute to deliberate on bilateral diplomatic collaboration.

AA insurgents intentionally opened fire from Ponnagyun to the wards in Sittway Township of Rakhine State yesterday, and the artillery shells fell into Set Yone Su 2, Konbaung ward and exploded. After the explosion, one male and one female were seriously injured and taken to General Hospital (500-bed) in Sittway Township.
