Since early November 2023, the KIA terrorist group and NUG-backed PDF terrorists have been continuously launching surprise attacks on military units and security outposts in Sagaing Region. They occupied certain towns and villages, including Htigyaing, Kawlin, Pinlebu, and Marathein village, using schools, village monasteries, and pagodas as bases to carry out acts of terrorism. They also imposed fear among local civilians by arresting and killing people, extorting money, and planting landmines and explosives on public roads and bridges. Therefore, Tatmadaw columns launched counter-terrorism operations to restore regional security and stability.

THE Fuel Oil Import, Storage and Distribution Supervision Committee and the Department of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Inspection under the Ministry of Energy are systematically managing the import, storage, distribution, and sale of fuel oil in a safe and orderly manner, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations on petroleum and petroleum products. At the same time, if any illegal fuel oil operations are detected, appropriate legal action is taken promptly.

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn gave an interview yesterday at the ministry to the filming team of the documentary programme “Towards the Golden Future of Lancang-Mekong.” The programme is being jointly produced by Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) and Yunnan Media Group (YMG) from Yunnan Province, China. The interview focused on the role of the information sector in enhancing friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Myanmar and China.

A special appeal tribunal consisting of Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay and Judges of Supreme Court of the Union: U Myo Tint, U Thaung Naing, U Win Myint and Daw Soe Khet Khet was convened Monday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union, and passed judgements for two special criminal appeal cases: 6/2025 (Mon) and 7/2025 (Mon), and four special civil appeal cases: 31/2025 (Mandalay), 32/2025 (Mandalay), 33/2025 (Kachin) and 34/2025 (Kachin) were heard. Additionally, a total of four special civil appeal cases: 16/2025 (Mandalay), 23/2025 (Yangon), 24/2025 (Shan) and 25/2025 (Mandalay) were heard.
