AS a partnership between the Ministry of Commerce and the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), plans and activities for promoting exports are underway to boost the country’s economy. Today, 6,000 tonnes of corn were shipped from Wilmar International Port Terminal and 9,400 tonnes of beans from Yangon International Gateway Terminal (YIGT). Additionally, a cargo ship departed from Asia World Port Terminal (AWPT 3) carrying aquatic products, rice, beans, forest products, sugar, sesame, consumer goods, box shells, corn, and rubber.
