Ambassadors and officials from the embassies of Japan, Israel and Italy visited the Ayeyarwady Centre, set up by the Ayeyarwady Foundation, where medical treatments are provided to COVID-19 patients under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and Sports. During the visit, Japanese Ambassador Mr Maruyama Ichiro, the Ayeyarwady Foundation Chairman U Zaw Zaw and officials explained the centre. The ambassador said he would do his best to support the treatment of COVID-19 disease in Myanmar.

The Ministry of Commerce held meeting on export promotion and trade status via zoom application yesterday morning. During the Meeting, Union Minister Dr Than Myint said the country earned more than $36 billion from trade sector in 2019-2020FY and could implement 109.73pc of the estatmated amount of $33bilion. If the economy develops, it will create more job opportunities for the public and be a supportative measure in poverty reduction.

The Myanmar Airways International relief flight landed at the Yangon Internaitonal Airport yesterday bringing back a total of 107 Myanmar nationals via Incheon airport of the Republic of Korea. Among these returnees, 4 Myanmar nationals were from Canada while 1 from Germany, 4 from Hong Kong 6 from Indonesia, 3 from Italy, 74 from ROK, 1 from Norway, 7 from Russian Federation, 4 from Sri Lanka and 3 from the US.
