A special appeal tribunal consisting of Chief Justice of the Union U Thar Htay and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union: U Kyi Thein, Daw Khin May Yi, U Thaung Naing, and Daw Thin Thin Nwet was convened yesterday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union and passed judgements for one special criminal appeal case — No 5/2024 (Mandalay), and five special civil appeal cases — Nos 6/2024 (Mandalay), 30/2024 (Kachin), 37/2024 (Yangon), 39/2024 (Bago) and 40/2024 (Mandalay).
