RAKHINE State is rich in cultural heritage and artistic treasures, reflecting its long history. As a region where Buddhism is flourishing, Rakhine State has abundant ancient stupas and temples as cultural heritage.

​​​​​​​MYANMAR has been facing over 70 years of instable situations, beginning with armed conflicts that emerged alongside its independence. Successive governments have attempted to achieve domestic peace through various means. However, due to ethnic, ideological, pride-driven, and ego-centred divisions, peace has remained elusive, appearing fleetingly like a glimmer of hope before disappearing again — an ongoing loss for the nation.

DUE to typhoon Yagi in the South China Sea and a small storm in the Bay of Bengal, continuous rainfall and flooding have caused major floods in various parts of Myanmar, in September of this year. This could be the first time in history that the country has been impacted by such extensive floods that inundated many villages and towns in many states and regions concurrently.

The national-level sporting event was grandly and ceremoniously held at the national stadium on 9 December, where athletes from different regions of the country are currently participating in various sports competitions. In preparation for the games, athletes from each region have been actively training and preparing in their respective sports. The relevant state and regional governments have been providing systematic support, and organizing necessary facilities and resources.

Mountains are integral to human society, but unchecked deforestation and tree cutting can render them barren. As a result, these barren mountains contribute to climate change and the global warming process.

​​​​​​​THE National Sports Festival of Myanmar stands as a symbol of unity, pride, and athletic excellence. Held every four years, it brings together athletes from across the nation to compete and showcase their talents. This grand event fosters not only sportsmanship but also the spirit of national unity and cooperation.

Illegal trade is defined by the World Trade Organization as the “production, purchase, shipment, transfer, possession, or distribution of goods that are classified as illegal according to international laws, as well as any activities aimed at encouraging such actions”.
