For those affected by the earthquake, Sayadaw U Ketumala and members of the Sangha from Wuntho Monastery in Myitkyina Township, Kachin State, donated 300 bags of rice (each containing 24 Pyi), and Sayadaw U Uttamasiri from Aung Zeya Yanaung Monastery donated a further 200 bags (each containing 24 Pyi), making a total of 500 rice bags.
