Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo met Tatmadaw members and families of Kengtung Station at the Pyi Nyein Aye Hall of the Triangle Region Command on 22 April and held separate meetings with Tatmadaw members and families of Mongkhat and Mongyang stations at the hall of Mongkhat Station yesterday afternoon.

Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo and his wife Daw Nilar, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Triangle Region Command and officials, visited the local Tatmadaw hospital in Kengtung on 22 April and comforted Tatmadaw members, Myanmar Police Force members and people’s militia (local) who are receiving medical treatments.

The National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) met yesterday afternoon at the M Gallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw to discuss the peace process, aiming to strengthen internal peace and build a Union based on democracy and federalism, as the government accelerates dialogue with ethnic armed organizations to establish more effective processes and find practical ways to implement the outcomes of the dialogue.
