Nang Woe Sein from the Shan State Constituency 12 asked about the plan to build a gymnasium in Myoma Stadium behind Peinsam Basic Education High School in Mongping Township at the 11th-day meeting of the Amyotha Hluttaw in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. Union Minister for Sports U Ye Myint Tun pledged to coordinate with Shan State to demand the budget in the nearest financial year to construct the gymnasium, depending on the land plot settlement.

The Pyithu Hluttaw approved the Anti-Online Scam Bill yesterday during the 15th-day of its second regular session. Attended by Speaker U Khin Yi, Deputy Speaker U Maung Maung Ohn, and representatives, the Hluttaw passed the bill after endorsing 74 amendments adopted by the Amyotha Hluttaw and an additional 41 revisions proposed by the Bill Committee. The motion was tabled by U Thein Tun Oo, Secretary of the Bill Committee and representative from the Amarapura Constituency.

A special appeal tribunal consisting of the Union Chief Justic U Tha Htay of the Supreme Court of the Union of Myanmar, judges of the Supreme Court of the Union: U Thein Ko Ko, Dr Ko Ko Naing, U Win Myint and Daw Soe Khet Khet was convened yesterday morning at Zeyathiri District Court, and passed judgements for a total of five special appeal cases: two criminal cases: Nos 3/2026 (Taninthayi) and 4/2026 (Yangon), and three special civil appeal cases: Nos 9/2026 (Taninthayi), 16/2026 (Bago) and 17/2026 (Shan).
