The workshop on attending the online “Seminar on Economic Policies 2021” hosted by Japan was held on 17 June in Nay Pyi Taw, in line with the COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines.
The workshop was chaired by Deputy Minister for Planning and Finance U Maung Maung Win. They discussed the activities of Japan in areas of “Public Expenditure Management; Tax Policy; Fiscal and Monetary Policy; COVID-19 and Economic Challenges;” and recommendations on policies that Myanmar should implement.

THE 88th General Session of the World Assembly of National Delegates of the OIE held from 24 and 28 May via videoconferencing in Paris of French. The assembly shared animal health information and discussed matters pertaining to animal health and welfare, measures to improve animal diseases, regulations to apply set by OIE for disease prevention in trading animal and animal products, and approved the OIE 7th Strategic Plan 2021-2025. Director-General for Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department Dr Ye Tun Win joined the assembly.
