THE Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) operated the Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Loikaw-Yangon flight with the XY-AML aircraft type ATR 72-600 carrying 63 passengers and it flew to the airport according to the landing procedures to land at Loikaw Airport at about 8:45 am on 30 September. Terrorists fired the plane with a weapon (under verification) that hit the left part of the aircraft fuselage causing a passenger injured on the right cheek onboard the aircraft.
