PDF terrorists started an attack against security forces, who were taking security measures between Yepadaing and Ywathit villages on that day, using small and heavy weapons. Therefore, there was a clash between the two groups. Due to the counterattack of security forces, terrorists retreated and burnt down houses along the way, according to a security official.

Subversive media reportedly spread false claims, defaming security forces.
