U KYAW KYAW MAUNG, Governor of the Central Bank of Myanmar, received Indian Ambassador Mr Saurabh Kumar at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to banking cooperation between Myanmar and India, smooth implementation of making payment and keeping accounts among Asia central banks, and electronic card payment system.

PRESIDENT U Win Myint and First Lady Daw Cho Cho hosted a reception and dinner to commemorate the 73rd Anniversary Union Day in the square of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall yesterday.
First, the President and the First Lady were cordially greeted by Vice President U Myint Swe and wife Daw Khin Thet Htay, Union Minister Dr Pe Myint and wife, Union Minister U Ohn Maung, Union Minister Nai Thet Lwin and wife, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman Dr Myo Aung and wife at the reception.

A ceremony to mark the 73rd Union Day was organized with the State Flag raising and saluting, in front of Nay Pyi Taw City Hall yesterday.
Vice-President U Myint Swe, in his capacity as the Chairman of Union Day Organizing Central Committee, read out the message sent by the President.
The annual ceremony was held with the five objectives:--
1. All ethnic nationals are to work with collective strength for non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national unity, perpetuation of national sovereignty

THE final match and award-giving ceremony of 2020 States/Regions U-21 men’s football match was held at the Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw, with Speaker of Amyotha Hluttaw Mahn Win Khaing Than and wife Nan Kyin Kyi in attendance yesterday.
Sports and Physical Education Department of Ministry of Health and Sport, and Myanmar Football Federation jointly organized the U-21 men’s football tourney.
In the final match, Kayin State Team beat Magway Region Team with a score of 2-0, and won championship.

A diplomatic delegation led by Union Minister U Kyaw Tin of the Ministry of International Cooperation continued, in a speed launch, their study tour of islands around the Myeik Archipelago yesterday.
First, they arrived at the Thayawthadangyi Kyun (island) where a pearl farm was developed by the Myanmar
Atlantic Company. Pearl farm in-charge U Saw Hte La briefed them on pearl farming and they studied the pearl farm.
They then proceeded to the Smart Island, one of the most popular sightseeing tours among domestic and foreign visitors both, where there are two beaches.
