THE Fisheries Department and Myanmar Fisheries Federation released notices for the fish farmers to be aware of weather conditions and make preparations, as some of the regions and states face flooding due to storms in the 2025 monsoon. In the 2024 monsoon, 4,215.93 acres of fish ponds in Bago Region were flooded, and the Fisheries Department provided fingerlings to resume fish farming.

The Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization (MyanTrade) under the Ministry of Commerce held a virtual meeting on 28 July regarding the export of Myanmar mango pulp to Russia. Russia primarily imports mango pulp from India. They want to bring in 10,000 tonnes of mango pulp from India. MyanTrade will link Russian buyers with Myanmar dried mango and mango pulp suppliers.
