TODAY is the 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of Myanma Radio and Televi-sion which started broadcasting as Burma Broadcasting Service (BBS) on 15 February 1946. 1. Civil servants are the people who are working to make the whole state machinery function well. No matter how much the political, economic or government changes, civil servants must perform the duties to function the state machinery. They must abide by the rules and regulations regarding working hours, performance, and conduct in the workplace in accordance with the Civil Service Law and Employee Ethics. Those who breach the employee ethics and misconduct can be taken action in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Service Law. If an employee’s act or fail to serve is a possible offence, legal action will be taken.
