THE Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation held a ceremony to celebrate the World Food Day 2021 yesterday morning. The ceremony was attended by Union Ministers U Tin Htut Oo, U Hla Moe and U Khin Maung Yi, Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council Dr Maung Maung Naing, Deputy Minister Dr Aung Gyi and officials. Diplomats, president of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and its affiliated associations, Representatives from the Central Cooperative Society Limited, agricultural production and trade cooperatives, agricultural associations, and farmers joined the ceremony virtually.

Esteemed national brethren, Today is the sixth anniversary of signing the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement-NCA between the government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and ethnic armed organizations. As the ceremonies to mark the annual ceremonies of signing the NCA took place in Nay Pyi Taw, and the 5th anniversary day was held with the participation of COVID-19 applications in Nay Pyi Taw in the past, I sent a message to the 5th anniversary of the ceremony and delivering the speech online due to outbreak of COVID-19 this year.
