A plane carrying humanitarian aid comprising medicines and breathing apparatuses from China landed at Yangon International Airport yesterday morning.
Officials of the Yangon Region Disaster Management Department accepted the aid. These humanitarian aids were transported to Nay Pyi Taw by car under the supervision of Yangon Region government.
Likewise, another plane carrying tent, personal goods, tarpaulin sheets, medicines and instant foods weighing 31,301 kilogrammes from Pakistan in the second batch arrived at Yangon International Airport yesterday morning.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Pakistani Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Imran Haider and officials coordinated necessary measures before sending these supplies to Nay Pyi Taw.
