Actor Nay Min and singer Phyo Myat Aung visited earthquake-affected communities in TadaU and Inwa in Mandalay Region on 5 April to provide humanitarian donations.

“We felt deeply saddened and emotionally affected to witness the hardship faced by people suffering from the earthquake. At the same time, we are grateful to have the chance to personally get involved and help. We are continuing our donations to township hospitals and villages across Mandalay Region where assistance is still limited,” said actor Nay Min.

In TadaU, they donated K5 million to 10 people seriously injured by the earthquake, including one with a spinal injury, giving K500,000 to each individual. They also gave K2.7 million to 27 patients receiving treatment at TadaU hospital, providing K100,000 each.

In Inwa, they contributed K4.5 million to 15 families whose homes were destroyed, giving K300,000 per family. Also, K900,000 was donated to three severely injured victims at K300,000 each, K1.5 million to three survivors with serious injuries and K3 million to support medical treatment and funeral expenses.
