The Bank of China (Yangon Branch) cooperates with China Rural Development Foundation donated relief supplies to the earthquake victims in Nay Pyi Taw on 30 March.

In the first batch donation, they donated 1,620 cartons of instant noodle, 540 pieces of bread, purified drinking water, 270 mosquito nets, mosquito coils, and necessary utensils to some 1,600 people from 270 households.

In the aftermath of the earthquake, the Bank of China (Yangon Branch) launched the corporate online banking services on a daily basis. It opens the Chinese-English-Myanmar emergency phone line in order to provide counseling and assistance to the users from the affected areas with utmost efforts to ensure smooth running of basic financial services.

The Bank of China decided to provide assistance for reconstruction of houses of the people in the affected areas so as to overcome challenges together with Myanmar people.
