THE Myanmar Police Force announced the arrest of a drug-trafficking group in Minhla and Pyinmana Townships, which was involved in trafficking drugs, including over K16.2 billion worth of stimulant tablets, Ice (crystal methamphetamine), Ketamine and Happy Water.

AA terrorists traded drugs and purchased arms and munition with the money they earned through drug trading. They also conducted terror attacks in Rakhine State, bullied and murdered civilians with weapons. Locals reported to authorities regarding their drug trafficking and terrorist attacks. On 26 April 2025, authorities arrested Thein Zaw, aged 43, Thet Oo, aged 56, Aung Myint, aged 51 and Thein Zaw, aged 56, together with ICE weighing 618 kilogrammes on the “Arman Thit” boat about 60 nautical miles southwest of Pyapon Township in Ayeyawady Region.
