A combined team comprising members of Anti-Drugs Squad searched a motorcycle driven by Kyaw Min Tun (aka) Cham Myae together with his colleague namely Khine Htoo on the Zarthapyin-Kyakalay road near Zarthapyin (East) village, Hpa-an Township, Kayin State on 31 January and the team seized 2,600 stimulant tablets from them. Similarly, a team consisting of members of the Rakhine State Police Force confiscated 40,000 stimulant tablets on a three-wheeled vehicle driven by Tin Maung Aye along with his colleagues San Thein Maung and Than Tun at the Kyauktan Bridge inspection gate in Kyauktangyi village, Sittway Township on 1 February. The police have filed the charge against them under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law.
