THE Engineering Department of the Yangon City Development Committee is proceeding with the water pumping process for river outlets where water from creeks and drainages flows from the city into the Yangon River, Bago River and Ngamoeyeik Creek, in the time of heavy rains and high tide, to prevent flooding in the city.
