To provide support and rehabilitation for staff affected by the Mandalay earthquake, the Tzu Chi Charity Foundation donated K200 million, 920 six-Pyi bags of rice, and 920 one-litre bottles of oil at the office of the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement. Union Minister Dr Soe Win accepted the donation, expressed his gratitude, and presented a certificate of appreciation.

Following the recent Mandalay earthquake, Brazil has donated a consignment of humanitarian aid to support Myanmar’s recovery efforts. The shipment includes 13 boxes containing medical supplies, nutritious dried food, and water purifiers, weighing 5,820 kilogrammes. The aid was transported by a Korean Air Airbus flight, which arrived at Yangon International Airport at 7:30 pm on 5 May.
