A special appeal tribunal consisting of Chief Justice of the Union U Tha Htay and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union: U Khin Maung Gyi, Daw Thin Thin Nwet, Daw Pyone Pyone Aye and Dr Ko Ko Naing was convened Monday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union and passed judgements for one special criminal appeal case – No 14/2024 (Shan) and three special civil appeal cases – Nos 70/2024 (Mandalay), 73/2024 (Mon), and 74/2024 (Sagaing).
