THE 20th ASEAN University Games continued yesterday in Ubon Ratchathani, Thai­land with the Myanmar Wushu Team winning one gold and one silver.

Myanmar’s Ma Aye Thitsa Myint won one gold medal and Ma Myat Noe Eain won one silver medal in the women’s wushu event held at the Sunee Tower yesterday morning.

In the women’s wushu event 1, a Mandala University’s stu­dent, Ma Myat Noe Eain won the second silver medal with a score of 9.53.

In the women’s wushu event 2, a Dagon University’s student Ma Aye Thitsa Myint won the first gold medal with a score of 9.69.

Three athletes represented Myan­mar Wushu Sports Team, and compet­ed in six competi­tions in four Wushu sports events and won two golds, two silvers, and one bronzes.

In the 20th ASEAN Uni­versity Games, the Myanmar sports team participated in football, Sepak Takraw, ar­chery and wushu events and have won two golds, two silvers and two bronzes.
