EVERY citizen holds a fundamental duty to uphold the “Our Three Main National Causes”: the non-disintegration of the Union, the non-disintegration of national solidarity, and the perpetuation of sovereignty. In fulfilment of these responsibilities, young people who enthusiastically registered have been undergoing training, and the graduation ceremonies for People’s Military Service Training 23 were held yesterday at various training depots across the respective military commands.
The ceremonies followed the training graduation schedule, with the graduates taking an oath while holding the national flag. The officials awarded the outstanding trainees.
After the ceremony, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman, the region and state chief ministers, commanders and relevant officials cordially greeted the graduates.
During the training, trainees were provided with systematic instruction in physical fitness, military drill, combat tactics, and general subjects. Those who have completed their training and are now undertaking their roles in national defence and security.
In the evening, dinners were hosted at each training depot in honour of the graduates of the People’s Military Service Training 23.
