Military Appointment-General Lt- Gen Lin Aung and Chief of Armed Forces Training Lt-Gen Zaw Myo Tin reported on the turning out of officers from DSA and DSTA within 20 years from 2000 to 2021, and the situation of their current in-service terms.

Speaking on the occasion,  the Senior General said that trainees and graduate officers must control themselves to accomplish the missions and discharge assignments dutifully Military Appointment-General Lt- Gen Lin Aung and Instructors need to turn out qualified officers.

They need to note down  the knowledge to be done and which should be done when  they would serve the one-step promotion.

In reviewing the turning out of officers from 2000 to 2021, lecturing of literature and currently-served terms, some officers broke disciplines without self-control, inappropriate lifestyle and weakness of health, so they could not continue their service terms, leaving much loss to the State and the Tatmadaw. As such, leaders must have a firm spirit and self-control for achieving goals.

Instructors must strictly supervise the trainees and not give indulgence to the trainees as well as themselves. Those qualified instructors must turn out the leaders of the future applying their experiences.

Priority must be given to  quality rather than quantity  in turning out the trainees  on whom the State and the Tatmadaw rely. The Senior General said he emphasizes the building of the qualified
Tatmadaw as well as capable Tatmadaw with high capability. Strenuous efforts were made for the enhancement of educational qualification of officers and other ranks and welfare  for families. Moreover, female officers are being produced to serve the duties in respective sectors similar to that of international armed forces.

Instructors from academies and training depots must give training to each junior leader to have basic spirit, concept, confidence, military skills and training and to become good leaders for the State and the Tatmadaw in the future upon completion of the training.
