CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior  General Min Aung Hlaing received Mr Bill Richardson, former governor of New Mexico State of the United States of America, at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

At the meeting, they openly exchanged views on the progress of taking preventive, control and treatment measures of COVID-19 in Myanmar, anti-COVID-19 vaccination, the opening of schools as the infection rate of the disease declines, and plans of the United States for providing COVID-19 vaccines to Myanmar.

Also present at the meeting were Union Ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Ko Ko Hlaing and Dr Thet Khaing Win. The former governor of New Mexico State was accompanied by delegation members. —MNA
