Actor Academy Khant Sit Thu, along with film artistes, donated rice, oil, foodstuffs, and cash to flood victims in Loikaw Township, Kayah State, on 4 October, according to actor Khant Si Thu.

The total value of the food and donations amounted to approximately K30 million for 500 flood-impacted households in Loikaw Township, with an additional K3 million allocated to officials for repairing religious buildings damaged by the flood.

“We cooked meals for flood victims who were truly in need last month. This time, I went to Kayah State to make donations. The victims are facing a lot of hardship, and I am extremely sorry for their losses. We assist the communities in need. We also contributed to the repair of the damaged monastic buildings. It’s not just me making donations; my fans and my film colleagues also participated,” remarked the actor.

Actors such as Moe Sett, May Chit Thet, May Myat Noe Khin, Mya Nanda, May Thu Khaing Nyein, and Maykhala Myo Win joined Khant Si Thu in this donation programme.
