THE Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar has agreed to the proposed appointment of Mr Mutaz Abdullah Abduljaleel Mohamed Al Faheem as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar with residence in Yangon.
Mr Mutaz Abdullah Abduljaleel Mohamed Al Faheem was born on 5 May 1979. He obtained a Master's degree in Political Science from Leiden University, the Netherlands and joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UAE in 2003. He had served in various capacities at both headquarters and abroad. He served at the UAE Embassy in the Hague, the Netherlands, from 2004 to 2009; at the UAE Embassy in Warsaw, Poland, from 2009 to 2013; at the Economic Affairs and International Cooperation Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from 2013 to 2014; at the Finance and Administrative Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from 2014 to 2015, at the UAE Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, from 2015 to 2018. He also served as Head of Division at the East Asia and Pacific Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2018 to 2019. Since 2019, he has been serving as Deputy Director-General at the East Asia and Pacific Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr Mutaz Abdullah Abduljaleel Mohamed Al Faheem is married and has two sons. MNA
