THE 2024 matriculation examination (new curriculum) continued its second day yesterday, and a total of 128,725 students sat for the English subject across the nation, including overseas exam centres.
This year, a total of 841 exam centres, including 11 overseas exam centres and 830 exam centres at home, are opened for the students. A total of 146,523 students enlisted to join the examination. For the second day, 128,725 students sat for the English subject with 17,798 absentees. The number of students sitting for exams accounted for 87.85 per cent, according to the figures of the Ministry of Education.
