Heavy rainfalls triggered by Typhoon Yagi ravaged rail tracks and bridges on theYangon-Mandalay section. Officials conducted repair works to resume train services that were suspended starting on 13 September, and repairing processes were completed for the Yangon-Thazi rail track.
