AIR CHINA landed at Yangon International Airport yesterday evening, carrying a total of 736,000 Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines and 848,000 needles.

This is the third batch of 2 million COVID-19 vaccines donated by the Chinese Government to Myanmar and Deputy Minister for Health and Sports Dr Aye Tun and officials received the donation at the airport.

It is reported the vaccination will be carried out in public hospitals and designated vaccination places in regions and states according to the National Development Plan.
