A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw troops who courageously served duties in Taungtha region and its vicinities was held at the local battalion in Monghkat in Shan State (East), yesterday.

Officials from the Triangle Region Command, departmental officials of Monghkat district, police members, Myanmar War Veterans Organization members, militia and ethnic people welcomed back returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.

They also welcomed home victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia and presented the cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional dance and music performances.
